I Can Breathe Now!

Ahhhhh, Its OVER!
I was asked about a year ago to sing in a wedding.
When she asked me, I said "Are you sure?" She said "Yes!"
You see, singing isnt my thing! I play the piano. I dont consider myself to be a singer!
When I was younger, I would play the piano and my sister would sing! SHE IS THE SINGER in the family!
Anyway,,,,,
The bride told me a few months ago that she wanted me to sing The Lord's Prayer. That is a HARD song to sing!
But I practiced and practiced. I decided that all I could do is get up there and do my best.
So thats what I did. Everyone came up to me and hugged me and told me a did a good job! One of our friends hugged me and said he thought he was watching American Idol!! LOL Even my husband said he was IMPRESSED!and believe me, it is a BIG DEAL for him to say that. My husband can be brutally honest when it comes to singing!!
I have to say this,,,,,My little girl is my biggest fan! When I was practicing, she said "Mommy, that was beautiful!" Then at the wedding she told me she knew when I sang it would be beautiful. She said people would be crying and she might even cry. She's my sweetheart!
It was a Beautiful wedding!
and now I can breathe again! (While I was up there my legs felt like JELLO the whole time!!)
