I LOVE SHARK WEEK!
I get to learn all kinds of interesting facts about sharks!! I have a "thing" about sharks. I think they are amazing creatures!
I have learned that they are not "mechanical", "mindless", Killing machines. They are intelligent! They are very curious!
There are more than 350 different species of sharks!
Have you heard of these sharks?
**Lemon Shark (it has yellow skin)
**Salmon Shark (yes, they prefer to eat SALMON)
**Silky Shark (they have silky smooth skin)
**Bonnethead Shark (also know as a Shovelhead,kind of like a hammerhead, but not quite as wide)
** Zebra Shark (Beautiful Shark,,,,really it is speckled, not striped)
**Horn Shark (very interesting: If this shark is eaten, it will POKE the predator and the predator will spit it out!!!)
BTW,,,Did you know that stingrays are sharks??
WOW! I could go on and on and on!!!!
