Making Memories

Here it is, Friday,,,,My day off again,,,,
I have had quite a week,,,,I have alot of "catching up" to do!
But I am going to start with Last Saturday!

The morning started with my daughter being tested in Tae Kkwon Do for her yellow belt!
We were so excited! We talked about it all week long!
There were several kids there to be tested as well as a few adults,,,,,,Our daughter, Robbin was a white belt and there were several white belts being tested that morning. So the group of white belts got up there and did a "routine" together, then they started doing the same "routine" individually. My husband and I looked at each other and one of us said "Is Robbin gonna have to do that?"
Well, it was her turn,,,,,She was AMAZING! My husband and I were Amazed! She did an EXCELLENT job! She had to memorize all those "moves".....She didnt make one mistake!
Here at home, I'll say "Robbin, did you learn anything new at Tae Kwon Do this week?" She'll usually say "No, not really!" So we dont get to see her do any of it here at home. We had no idea she was doing SO WELL!
The testing started at 9:45a.m. We stayed there until 11:30,,,,,It was alot of FUN! We got to see other belts test,,,,,the red and black belts had to break boards and of course their "routine" was alot more complicated than the other belts! But we needed to go,,,,,My husband and I didnt eat breakfast, and he was going to have to go to work soon,,,,,so we left.
We went out to eat and then we went home. My husband prepared to go to work and Robbin and I set out for a day of shopping!!!!

I have to say, I had the BEST day I've had in a long, long time! We enjoyed ourselves so much! My Gramma has alway been a BIG influence on my life,,,when I was younger we would go fishing, or we would go camping, and Gramma would say "We are making memories."
Well, that is what we DID that day!
We shopped, we tried on clothes, we laughed, we were silly together! We took a break and had a cookie and a soda. We stopped at the Pet Store and looked at all the animals! Robbin is just at that perfect age when she still thinks MOM is the Greatest! Whatever "I" want to do, that's what "SHE" wants to do! She and I had a "special" supper that night,,,,,, SO I told her that was her "Victory Supper"! I made meatballs for her!
