Christmas 2007

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas!!
I'll tell you a little bit about mine,,,,,
Christmas Day started out GREAT! We opened presents, we played with Robbin,,,,,,,We had alot of fun!
My husband put a ham in the oven that morning,,,,,,,Around 1:00 or so, it was time for me to start cooking all the goodies we were going to eat with the ham!!!! As I was cooking, I started feeling worse and worse,,,,,,Let me back up here a little bit,,,,,,My daughter was sick on Sunday with some kind of stomach-bug,,,,,,Guess what? I had it now! As I was cooking, my stomach churned and made all kinds of noises! I was going downhill fast!
It was time to eat. My husband told me to sit down and eat, that maybe it would make me feel better! It all looked SO GOOD! SO I sat down and ate some of it,,,,,,,then afterwards, I HAD to lay down for a bit!
When I got up, I was SO SICK! OMG! Eating DID NOT make me feel better!!!!
At 7:00 we were to meet my husband's older brother in a town that is about an hour away,,,,,Robbin was going to go stay with them for a few days while she is on Christmas vacation. I dreaded that trip, but I knew I had to go. No one knows this, but I just kept praying over and over that the Lord would help me feel better, if for no other reason but so that I could make this trip!
Well, the Lord helped me thru! We drove there in the pounding RAIN! It was a long trip, but I made it!
We said good-bye to our daughter, kissed her, told her we would call her every night!
