Hail to The King

Something that has been on my mind lately,,,,,,
My whole life I have LOVED movies about knights and princesses and Kings and Queens,,,,,,I LOVE the story of CAMELOT even tho it is very tragic in the end,,,very sad. I love The Lord of the Ring movies,,,,,especially The Return of the King!
But in those movies I would be amazed at the loyalty and the humility that people would show for their KING. People would bow down to HIM, they would sing and rejoice when HE returned from battle,,,,,
In the United States, we dont really know about "loyalty to a KING". We have a President and most of the time people have little or NO respect for him. and ESPECIALLY no loyalty!!!
So in those movies, I always envied those people,,,,,,,to have that much respect and loyalty and love for ONE MAN!
Well, NOW I HAVE A KING in my life! Not only is Jesus my KING, but I am a part of HIS FAMILY now! I am Royalty!
I PETER 2:9-10
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of GOD: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.


Phil 2:8-11 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore GOD also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
I have to add one more verse and then I will be finished,,,,,,,,,
ROMANS 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the LORD, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

That is a powerful verse right there! For some people that is their VICTORY verse,,,,,,for others, they should tremble when they read that! I am NOT a perfect person by any means and that verse is WONDERFUL and a little scary all at the same time! But I do know that Jesus doesnt expect perfection, but HE DOES expect us to Worship and Honor and LOVE HIM-----as our KING!
