Every year, I SWEAR I am going to do BETTER at Christmastime,,,,,,,I am going to be more organized, I am going to have more control, I am going to have moeny saved up, I am going to be less stressed!
Well, this has turned out to be one of the worst ones yet! I am stressed more than EVER!!!
It is DEC 12th,,,,,,Can you believe we have had something EVERY NIGHT SINCE THANKSGIVING?? Well, lets see, I close 2 nights a week, we go to church 2 nights a week, so that leaves 3 nights a week to do "other-stuff". My life has become SO BUSY,,,,,,but every time I think about it, I really dont want to change anything!
When it was just Chris and I, We decorated for FALL, we decorated for Easter, WE REALLY DECORATED for Christmas!!!!! Now we have RObbin, NOW is when we really need to try and decorate and make it fun, and it is HARDER than ever to do so!!!! My husband usually wants the house decorated the week after T-giving. Well, here it is Dec 12th and we are still "working on it". I get stressed out when we do a little bit here and a little bit there,,,,,I want to do it ALL and put the boxes away and be done with it!! But thats just not possible right now!
And then I feel so GUILTY! I am stressing out over Christmas Decorations,,,,,,,,and my parents have a family who is close to them who have a 4 month old baby struggling for her LIFE! She has malignant brain tumors. I also know other people who are struggling with health issues and family issues,,,,,,,,and we are SO blessed! I have to constantly remind myself of that! Things arent SO BAD! Christmas will be gone, and life will go back to normal for us,,,,,,,,but for alot of people out there, life might never be "back to normal" ever again!

In my state of Oklahoma, we have just gone through the worst power outage in state history due to an ice storm. I was without power for 6 days and am finally back home. Let me tell you how this has changed my priorities in life about what's important and what to really be thankful for!
