Right on Time

ANOTHER DAY OFF!
I better appreciate it too,,,,,,,Because after today I am working SEVERAL days in a row! I dont know HOW that always seems to happen to me! I am the one who "approves" the schedule before it gets posted,,,,,,so how do I always seem to miss that???
As I mentioned earlier, we have been feeling the affects of "FAY",,,,,,It rained here ALL weekend! and I am NOT complaining! My husband said "God is always right on time! He knows we needed it and HE brings it to us right on time!"
The other day, my husband and I went and had lunch together,,,,,Something we havent done IN A WHILE because of our "money-situation" and even on this particular day, even though it was payday, I felt guilty for going OUT for LUNCH! Earlier we were at W-mart and saw somebody we know,,,,not a close friend, just an acquaintance really. When we got to the Chinese restaurant, we saw the acquaintance again,,,,,,we all laughed,,,,,,we took a table and a waitress came over and asked if she could see our check, so we handed it to her and she said "Just want you to know this has been taken care of." My husband and I looked at each other and said "what?" He asked her "who?" and she wouldnt tell us.
We know that our "friend/acquaintance" paid for our lunch that day.......we didnt let on that we knew it was him.....but we DID stop and thank GOD for that blessing! Some people might say, Oh thats silly. God, The Creator of the Universe doesnt care about your Lunch bill!!! Yes, God IS the Creator of the Universe,,,,but Jesus said "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."
Jesus is not only "like" a best friend, he IS our Best Friend,,,,,,,,If we are hurting, HE is hurting! If we are sad, HE is sad. IF we are happy, HE is HAPPY!
I am learning the hard way to live ONE DAY AT A TIME........I am the type of person that I like to see into the future, I like to know that I have worked and I have planned and we are going to be OK unless some BIG emergency comes around,,,,,,,well, here lately, I guess you could say we've had sort of an "emergency"-----my husband without a job for 3 1/2 months------and I dont really know what tomorrow holds! But thats OK! Jesus DOES KNOW! and HE is always right on time!
