We just got back from the beach. I dont know if I've ever been to the beach in December??
It was pretty chilly there! Thursday was nice,,,,we arrived in the afternoon and went straight to the beach! The water was too cold to swim but we walked up and down the beach and my daughter and I picked up shells. Friday it rained all day, and the water was so rough! The waves were so powerful! I understand what it means when someone says the ocean was "angry". Saturday morning we got up and I told my daughter we would walk on the beach some since it was our last day there,,,,,well, it was too cold to do that! The temperatures were in the 40's!!!
But it's OK! I loved it! I loved that we were able to get away for a few days! and I LOVE the OCEAN!

When I got home, I knew there were some Scripture in Psalms that speaks of the ocean and God's Majesty! So I had to look them up and share them here,,,,,,,,,,,
Psalm 89:8-9
8 O LORD God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O LORD? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. 9 You rule the raging of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them.
Psalm 93:4 4 The LORD on high is mightier Than the noise of many waters, Than the mighty waves of the sea.
Psalm 95: 4-6 4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. 5 The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
Psalm 139:8-10 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.
Psalm 146:5-7 5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the LORD his God, 6 Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever, 7 Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners.

I DO LOVE GOD's Creation! Everytime I see the ocean I am in AWE, It is just Incredible!!
