Boxing

I dont know what it is about boxing movies,,,,,,,Some of my very favorite movies are boxing movies. I guess because they are usually about an underdog who comes up from behind, out of nowhere and he becomes a Champion! All because of his hard work and his determination and his BIG HEART!
I love the Rocky movies,,,,,,,Well, especially the 1st ones.......
I REALLY LOVE Cinderella Man!! My husband and I have watched that one LOTS of times!!!
My husband really likes Diggstown, allthough it is not one of my favorites,,,,
The other night I watched a good OLD Classic boxing movie, City for Conquest with James Cagney. Can you believe I have never seen Raging Bull??,,,,a Boxing CLASSIC! and I love Robert DeNiro! Guess I'll have to make it a point to watch that one!!!
There is a boxing movie I saw years ago,,,,,I cant remember the name of it tho,,,,I probably saw it in the late 80's or early 90's?? It was about a white man and a black man, both from other countries,,,,,,,It was good, I just cant remember what it was called! I'll have to do some research on that one! *****I found it!!! Its called The Power of One. It has Morgan Freeman in it! It was made in 1992!*****

Have you ever seen "The Champ"? It was a 70's movie with Ricky Schroeder. It was sooo good, but a total tear jerker! If you haven't seen it, and you like boxing movies (and you thought Ricky Schroeder was cute...hee), you would like this one.
