Huge Disappointment

It was pretty QUIET at my house last night!
I cant say that I am surprised at who won the election,,,,,just so disappointed!
I am glad there was such a great voter turn-out this year! That is what America is all about! It still surprises me that there are Americans who dont take advantage of that right and that privilege! People in times past fought so hard so that we would have that right! We have a voice in this country! SO many people live in countries where they DONT HAVE A VOICE! I come from a Conservative, Republican Family,,,,,My parents are SO Patriotic! They believe in this Country! and they believe we should stand up for what is right and for what we believe in no matter what the consequences!
All I can say is I HOPE for ALL OUR SAKES that all those people who were cheering and hollering last night on the TV,,,,,I HOPE thay made the right choice here!
and UP FRONT, I want to say,,,,the color of his skin does not matter to me! What matters is THE MAN! His heart, Who he is, What he is made of,,,,,,,,,
I will HAPPILY support a politician of any stripe who is willing to defend the sanctity of human life, support the institution of traditional marriage, protect the country from terrorism and advance the cause of religious liberty.(Sort of para-phrased, those were the same words of DR.James Dobson) The Republican candidate allthough I know is not perfect,,,,supported those things! The man who was elected, well, I dont see that!

I heard something recently,,,,,I thought it was interesting the way it was put,,,,,,We(as a society) put so much time and effort and money in saving animals(I am a BIG animal-lover btw!!) But we are killing babies!*****************************************************

Well, here I could say SO many things,,,,,,,But I am going to stop now! I kind of understand why Obama won,,,,He was the CELEBRITY CANDIDATE! A NEW,FRESH Face! He had BIG backers, with BIG money and nowadays thats really WHAT IT TAKES (unfortunately!)
SO we will watch and see what happens! He has little experience,,,,lets see how he does under pressure,,,,,because NOW, the pressure is ON for sure!
