This morning as we were headed to school, Robbin and I saw a deer. It ran across the road in front of us, really close to the house!!! We stopped for a moment to look at the deer in the woods. I told Robbin, they are hard to see in the woods except for the BIG, WHITE TAIL! =o)
I dropped Robbin off at school. I was driving back home and in a field, also very close to our house,,,,,I saw a bunch of wild turkeys!!! I drove by them real slow,,,,,they didnt even stop and look at me! I didnt disturb them at all!!!
I LOVE it when I see "scenes in nature"! I am always thankful for those!!!
I guess I will include this little "scene". We had some excitement this afternoon. I heard our bulldog, SKEETER barking out in the yard. Skeeter NEVER barks! So I went to see what the problem was! Skeeter had a snake cornered!!! UGH! I walked out there to see what kind of snake it was,,,,,,,,,It was just a harmless mud snake,,,,,,It was kind of funny to watch,,,,,Skeeter still has alot of "puppy" in him,,,,,,he stood there and barked and barked,,,,,There was a breeze and I guess something would hit his foot, like a leaf, and he would jump a foot in the air!! I laughed so hard!!!!
Anyway, the snake got tired of Skeeter barking at him so he took off. Unfortunately he didnt head for the woods like I was hoping,,,,,he headed for the house, under the bushes. Skeeter is taking a nap in the garage,,,,,,the snake will disappear when he thinks it's safe!!! =o)
