Nurse

I am off today,,,,,This is my fourth day playing nurse maid to my husband who had knee surgery on Friday.
Funny thing is I scheduled myself to be off this Sun, Mon, and Tues before I even knew about his surgery! So I am thankful for that!
My husband has had some pretty rough days! He has had alot of pain! He has trouble finding a comfortable position,,,,,he lays in the bed, he gets up and sits in his recliner, we put ice on his knee, he takes a pain pill and goes back to bed and the cycle starts all over again!
My husband is a pretty big guy,,,,the only way he can get around is on crutches!!!--NOT FUN--
We DO see some light at the end of the tunnel tho,,,,,He says he is getting mobility back in his knee,,,,,He says it doesnt feel quite as stiff as it did over the weekend!!!!!
(whew, Thank You, LORD!)

So anyway,,,,I am off again tomorrow,,,,,I have to go back to work on Wed. and he has a DR appointment! UGH!
We have some GREAT church members,,,,they have ALL offered to help in any way they can!!!! So I think I am going to take them up on that! I need someone to take him to the DR. for me!!!

Time marches on,,,,and each day means another day closer to "RECOVERY"!!!!
