I I read these verses this morning. I like how in John 3:16 Jesus says For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. and vs. 17 says For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. but then a few verses over from that you see where John the Baptist says He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. (vs.36)
