Spring

We have been having some Beautiful Spring days here in Georgia. I LOVE the Spring! I love the flowers! I LOVE the birds! Last friday my husband and I went fishing. 
I just sent my grandparents a card in the mail,,,,all of these things I listed always make me think of my Grandma,,,,,,My Grandmother is still living but she has Alzheimer's. I have all these wonderful memories. My Grandmother loved all these things I love now---Birds, Flowers, Fishing---
Today is my day off and I have been enjoying watching the birds out my windows. I have seen a couple of woodpeckers in the yard. I keep hearing a mockingbird. I keep hearing a mama wren singing.
We have a big trash can that sits by our garage. It is full of trash,,,,mostly paper-type trash. Stuff we might pick up in the yard, etc. There are a couple of planters/hanging baskets in there. A wren built a nest in one of the hanging baskets. The nest is full of eggs, I think I counted 4. So I see and hear that mama wren quite often throughout the day. I am excited that there will be baby wrens,,,,,but I am also very concerned,,,,,,,She didnt build her nest in a very SAFE place. I am afraid that when they are ready to leave the nest, my bulldog will get them. :o(   
Unfortunately, I cant babysit those little birds,,,,,Hopefully mama wren will see that they stay safe!
